Glazing — A thin coating on glass that allows light to come in with less heat gain.
Greywater, sometimes spelled graywater, grey water or gray water — domestic wastewater that is neither fresh nor heavily contaminated; it can potentially be used for irrigation or recycled for washing and toilet flushing.
High performance building design - a building constructed to maximize the utility from the least amount of energy and water.
HVAC — Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning

Illuminance — The density of lighting falling on a surface, expressed in footcandles or lux (metric).
Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) — The artificial environment that exists in a building that includes the factors of thermal comfort, illumination, noise, ventilation and level of indoor air pollutants. (Source: GSA Commissioning Program)
Insertion turbine – also referred to as turbine meters, have a rotating element that turns with the flow of water. The volume of water is measured by the number of revolutions by the rotor.
