Since 1978, Southface has been nationally recognized for providing education and outreach on saving energy, conserving water and preserving the environment. Our programs and services are based on sound science and reach about 40,000 people annually. Now, Southface Online Training will grow our audience in ways we previously only imagined.

While personal interaction is a valuable part of a classroom setting, traveling to a program can strain your schedule and your budget. Our online learning modules have been developed with the help of seasoned trainers, bearing in mind frequently asked questions and latest trends in sustainable design, green building and energy efficiency. Our first offering includes expert presentations on conducting charrettes, building commissioning and daylighting.

In Fall 2007, more course offerings are being made available. These include Water Efficiency for High Performance Commercial and Institutional Buildings, and HVAC Management for High Performance Existing Buildings. In late Fall, two additional course offerings that include a LEED study guide to help professionals become LEED accredited and a module on the Economic Benefits of High Performance Building.
